1. What is Pine Labs Bharat Yatra RuPay MTS enabled Card?
Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card is a prepaid payment instrument designed specifically for seamless, cashless travel on public transportation systems like buses, metros, and other mass transit networks where NCMC is enabled as a mode of payment.
2. Where can I use the Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
The card can be used for:
- Metro and bus ticketing
- Refer link for projects supporting NCMC https://www.npci.org.in/what-we-do/rupay-contactless/live-members
3. How does Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card work?
- Scan the QR code on the welcome kit and download the Bharat Yatra app
- Complete the registration by entering first name, last name and link the Bharat Yatra Card with your mobile number
- Load money onto the card by
- paying cash at the metro station
- through online modes from the Bharat Yatra App, or
- by scanning the QR code present on the backside of the card with your preferred UPI app
- For money loaded through online modes
- Android users can update balance on the card by using Update Balance feature of the app
- iPhone users can visit the nearest metro to update the balance
- Tap the card at entry/exit gates of the metro station
- Fare is automatically deducted from the card balance
4. Who can get a Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
Any individual can get the Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card
5. Is there any KYC process involved to get the Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
No, Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card is a PPI MTS, and it does not require any KYC details. It only requires a name and mobile number for registering the card to the commuter.
6. How can I activate my Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
- Pine Labs Bharat Yatra cards come with a Card Kit.
- Each Card Kit contains a QR code which leads to the Bharat Yatra app
- Commuters need to scan this QR code to register the card.
- During registration, Commuters shall be asked to enter their name and mobile number to which the card has to be tagged for receiving updates about the card usage etc.
7. How can I load/Reload my Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
You can load funds onto the card through:
- Metro or bus station
- Using the Add Money feature of the Bharat Yatra App
- Scanning the QR code on the back of the card using any of your existing UPI apps
8. Is there a limit on the card balance and usage?
Yes. A maximum amount in the Pine Labs Bharat Yatra card at any point is ₹ 2000.00. For exp. Commuter’s card has a balance of ₹ 50.00 and they can only load a maximum value of ₹1950.00 further. Commuter will not be able to add any amount more than ₹1950 in the above scenario.
9. How often can I load the card?
Commuters can load the card as many times whenever the card balance is less than ₹2000.00
10. How can I check my card balance & transaction history?
You can check your balance and usage history via:
- Mobile app or website
- SMS alerts to the registered mobile number
11. What happens if I lose my Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
If your card is lost or stolen:
- Immediately contact customer support or block it through the mobile app/website.
- A replacement card can be issued after verification.
12. What happens to my existing balance if I lose my Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
The balance in the card cannot be blocked.
13. Are there any fees for the Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card?
Nominal charges may apply for:
- Card issuance or reissuance
- Replacement of lost/damaged cards
14. Can I use Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card for non-transit payments?
No. Pine Labs Bharat Yatra Card is designed specifically for transit payments where NCMC is enabled as a payment mode.
